i'm spiritual. i believe in God. i understand why some people don't and i totally understand if people don't. i'm noone to tell anyone what they should believe in. i also respect every religion, growing up in toronto with a lot of cultures and religions, ive come to accept all of them. i dont think God wants us to debate with each other who's "god" is better. its more like all the gods are chilling and we're the ones making the big deal about it. anyways, with all that. my question is.. i need to find meaning in life. find motivation. i'm in university and i just don't see the point. in anything. the reason we're getting a degree is so we can get a good job which gives us a good paycheque so we can live with a peace of mind. but, what's the point? who's to say that we will be alive to experience that peace of mind? who's to say that we won't die today or tmr or the next? so instead of spending time studying why not instead try to just be happy? isnt that why we're doing all this in the first place? the "pursuit of happiness"? ..and unfourtanetly in society, in order to be happy we need money. and in order to get money we need to go to school. i'm just not passionate anymore. about anything. and it's ridiculous. the more i look at the world the more i'm just upset. with all the hate thats in the world, with all the pain it just seems like this "world" isn't it! theres something after this, something more important, and all we're doing is waiting for that day to arrive where we see what's next. and maybe i'm just sick of the world and want to know.. what's next!? dont get me wrong, im not suicidal. i just want to find meaning. i want to be passionate about something again. but its hard. in a racist, classist world we live in where theres famine in one continent, wars because of religion in another, babies dying in another, and ppl obssessed with hannah montana in the other. i just don't get it. i really dont. how messed up are ppl when they say "obama must be a terrorist because his name is similar to osama or that his middle name his hussein" .. i'm sorry. not everyone named hussein is a terrorist the same way not everyone named timothy is the oklahoma bomber. how much does the world suck when ppl are dying at temples, churches, mosques just because they arent the "right" religion. why are ppl dying at a 7/11 when they're buying milk!. ah, i dont get it. sorry for rambling. i just want someone to help me make sense of all this. here are my thoughts. Hi, I really like acting, for example, this might sound weird, but if I was watching Hannah Montana, I would sometime repeat the lines she said, for fun, because I like it so much ! :D So, I never ever had any experience before...except mt school musical; I got a lead roll for that. So, my mom and I talked and she agreed with the agent thing, but, I am wondering, will any agent accept me ? I also been told that I have a talent in singing, though, I am getting lessons soon, I do write my own music, because it's like a therapy for me :) I'm currently 14, and live in the Toronto area, does any one know a good agent ?
