Resolved Question: Do Disney shows ever poke fun at Nickelodeon?

There are numerous episodes of Nick shows where are are obviously poking fun at the Disney channel. Here are a few: "Drake and Josh", "Battle of Panthatar" - Josh sits down to watch TV and you hear a voice say, 'And now back to Suzanna Louisiana!' Obviously they are referring to "Hannah Montana". Josh then says "NOPE!" and changes the channel. "Back and the Barnyard" (not sure what episode) - Freddy the ferret is tied down, and being forced to watch a television as torture. On the TV you hear singing, something like, 'We're in high school, it's a musical!' And Freddy starts to scream. "iCarly", "iTake on Dingo" - The iCarly team get angry when they realize that the TV show "Totally Teri" on the Dingo channel is stealing their ides from iCarly. The Dingo channel is very similar to the Disney channel. While watching "Totally Teri" you can hear very corny jokes coming from the television, which Sam and Carly fake laugh to. Later, they talk about the rumor of Charles Dingo (the creator of the Dingo network) being frozen in the Dingo studios, just like the rumors about Walt Disney being frozen as well. "Big Time Rush", "Big Time Bad Boy" - The boys learn that WayneWayne is not as tough as he appears to be when they learn that he played the very dorky 'Towel Boy' on "Magic Middle School" (which seems to be a take on "High School Musical" and "Wizards of Waverly Place"). They show a small clip of "Magic Middle School" where three basketball players (wearing a logo similar to a wild cat) spray hoses "magically" (and very poorly done on purpose) onto the towel boy. "He looks hot!", "Better cool him off!" (towel boy is sprayed), "I guess I'm the one that needs the towel!" So, are there any episodes or movies from the Disney channel that do the same to Nickelodeon? I love Nickelodeon, but I don't really watch the Disney channel, so I wouldn't know. Voting Question: Finding that one perfect white dress...?

I have this scene in the musical I'm in where it is graduation and our director is picturing us in all white. I don't own a white dress. So this is where I need all the helpful hands I can get. I am looking for the perfect white dress. Not too short (knee length). Not too long. If you can could you find me one with sleeves. If not I would need a cute little white cardigan or something to go over it. Plus it needs to be cheapish. I checked Charlotte Russe online, but I know their inventory at their stores is always expanded. I also checked Forever 21, but it took too long to look through all their inventory online. Only for the most part, The Strings in 1st World Consumer Nations are pulled by falsehoods or lies or vested interests. Instead of being pulled by a string you yourself have set up and you yourself pull or a relative or loved one pulls we are now pulled by commercials, culture morals, social norms, the status quo, education, jobs, brands, prestige that were set up by not Us the Individual but by Particular Few who made Our World, here in this nation here on this land here on this planet here in the solar system here in this galazy here in this universe. But before we can understand The Strings we have to understand what the Earth is, a planet inhabited by animals plants fungi and then we have to understand that our culture is a destructive culture (masochist even) and it’s all in the head (of billions - because with the pop. Booming that means that more and more children are learning the culture longer and longer) but it’s a lie, our culture, a lie not forced into our brains because it does not have to force itself into our minds any longer, all that we see and hear while were in The Synthethic Culture, we are always immersed in it. We don’t even realize we are in a destructive culture because we are completely unaware of it like breathing? Or walking on the ground (because when you are walking on the ground you are more aware of walking then of the ground) So, The Strings are a metaphor for the New Agents of persuasion. The Strings get so wound up and myriad that by the end of your life, you really can’t say YOU lived YOUR life but The Strings lived it for you and you were just along for the ride. I have a 5 year old daughter and I DON'T allow any Hannah Montana or High School Musical (or any Disney teens). No Bratz dolls or similar - dolls with too much makeup and trashy clothes. I do allow Dora, Barbie, Disney Princess, My Little Pony, and Littlest Pet Shop. They just seem more innocent to me. I don't understand why some very young girls are allowed things that are meant for tweens and older. I know lots of 5 and 6 year olds that are already obsessed with Hannah, HSM, and such. When I was in high school, there was some people my age watching Dora the Explorer & even "kiddie sitcoms" like Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Suit Life, Sonny with a Chance, etc. And all I could ask myself was, "Aren't they a little too old to watch these shows?" Am I'm now in college & there are some people who are still watching these shows WTF? I always thought adults were suppose to act like adults. But being a fan of these shows at the of 16 yrs old or older is just an embarrassment. I can understand if your child & like these shows cause its meant for that general audience. Also, the majority of grown people watching them are "popular" in their school. Hi i really hope someone can help me! I have to do a Grammer Guide for 11 year olds at my school for my English language class! My friend took this class last year and she did all Disney characters explaining the rules of grammer. It was really good but hers was for 5 year olds so obviously Disney isn't a good idea for mine! I counsel 2 young kids who are having a rough time in school/home. This is really important!!!!!!!! I need a Christmas list in 5 days, or i will have nothing what-so-ever for Christmas!!!!!!!! I am an 11 year old girl, but i don't like super girly stuff, but i hate hannah montana and high school musical and all that junk. So do most people my age. I have an mp3, so i don't need that, my dad won't buy itunes, but make up is kinda ok, slightly, i'm in it for the sprite flavored lip gloss!!!! lol. jk. my fave color is aqua marine blue, and some other shades of blue in case that some how comes up, i love Justin Bieber, my computer is my life(Not a nerd ok? youtube-aholic),the phyco bunny, happy bunny, is awesome, if you can think of anything online that has no virus or anything like that, that i can use and doesn't have to be payed for to get music to get onto my mp3, that would be really super nice and would make me happy. Sorry this is so long guys. I just can't ever think of anything, oh, and this is very important, i have ADHD and if i actually pay attention to something, i'm probably obsessed for like a week. (Once it was a paddle ball, then a yo-yo, ect.) I will pay a LOT of attention to something i find interesting. And i love books that have romance and lots of action. I read on a 9th grade level, so..... I like big books and tiny books. But i have this thing at my school, called AR points and they suck. The books are very limited, not good books either, so i am sooooo lovin books that aren't AR, and books that are actually good, AND AR!!!!! No educational stuff please. I don't like math, it gives me headaches. more

Resolved Question: Demi Lovato is the only disney person who can actually sing?

I am so sick of these disney celebrities. I mean first they are actors and then they get a record deal. What the F***? Most of them can't even sing. Okay so the high school musical crew (hate the movie btw) sing fairly well, but the rest no. Demi Lovato had this incredible voice and she is a grate actor. Disney really hit the jack pot with her, but all the other ones should stick to acting. Am I right?? I really want to know you opinion and I don't care if you start cursing at me saying you love Hannah Montana. I just want to know. Personally I think Demi Lovato has a singing future without Disney. This is just the start for her.Oh yes something I forgot to mention. - Demi Lovato has a very special voice. I mean she is not a soprano or anyhting, but I like her strong voice. - Selena Gomez is exelent actress and she is very pretty, but I don't really like her music. Sorry Selena =0) (very cute girl though) - Jonas Brothers... hmmm I love their voice, but I hate most of their music. If they got someone to write them some killer songs, I would totally listen to them, but they really have to stop them whole Jonas disney act. Because frankly they aren't very good actors. so basically these days im watching my sister watch all this disney crap on tv. Hannah montana, jonas fags, and the wizards thing. What happened to the classic disney? What happened to the classic movies of Tarzan and Hunchback of Notre dame where such riveting and profound themes such as the connection between man and nature or the cruelty of society was? These old classic are so much more mature than those little immature girls and boys think that they moved on to high school and girlfriends.
