I have been asked to buy the "farewell" gift for one of my co-workers. I've worked at that company for a little over a year & tho I like this person I don't know her that well. Resolved Question: Themed Gift Basket for Girlfriend...Need More Stuff!?

For Christmas I'm getting my gf a gift basket theme thing based on places she has connections to, I think i have some good main stuff but I definitely need some more small stuff to fill out the gift basket. My question: Do you think this a good enough gift from a boyfriend of about 6 months or do I need more 'big' stuff in this basket. Is this a good idea in general or should I scrap it and go another way? What little stuff can I throw in her to fill out the gift basket? Here's the main stuff I have so far: 1. A bottle of California Wine (because shes originally from the Bay Area in Cali, not far from wine country), 2. A box of her favorite Taiwanese food (these little meat/bread rolls) from her mother's hometown (her parents are from Taiwan) 3. A small framed poster of Paris with pink as its main color, and theres a close up of a girls high heeled shoes in it. Hard to explain, but Paris is her favorite city and she loves shoes (so does every girl, but she REALLY does). 4. She also loves Vegas, so I got her another framed poster of the famous Vegas sign (she has nothing on her walls in her apt so these posters are functional too). This poster is big, so it'll be separate from the actual 'basket'. The only other place I was thinking about using is Japan because shes sort of into the culture (not like the anime stuff or anything though). more

Voting Question: Ideas for Christmas gift baskets with homemade liqueurs?

So my girlfriend and I made some homemade limoncello awhile back just to make it, and it was pretty darn good. One of friends and I couldn't stop drinking it on my birthday. It tasted like an expensive liquor and you couldn't taste that strong bite from the vodka. It's cheap and easy. We found some recipes to do a Berry Cordial, which is done in a similar fashion, and also a coffee liquor. We want to make some gift basket ideas, where we add chocolates, homemade jams, nuts and other things. Some will have the homemade liquor in small bottles, and packaged with a bottle of wine, or champagne... the others will be packaged in wine bottles, and will be the main component of the gift. I want to start a gift giving chain in my neighborhood with the theme of, "your personal economic bailout". I will start by annonymously placing four gifts on different neighbor's doorsteps with a letter instructing them to in turn design and give a gift to two other neighbors. I am an event coordinator and currently I'm helping a massage therapist set up a couples workshop. It'll be a day where they're fed fine tea house specials, and taught how to properly massage one another. Resolved Question: Do you think he's just being nice because I'm a client?

Story: He is my realtor, obviously. Has always been VERY professional, until i started joking with him. He showed me homes last week, he told me I looked really nice that day, I told him he had beautiful eyes. It was a little awkward. Then he scolded me for smoking which I thought was funny and weird. Turns out he's a smoker too, go figure. Anyway, we went to lunch the other day because I brought him a gift basket to apologize for something my mother did (long story), so we went next door to his office and got pizza. We talked for like an hour and a half about really random stuff (abortion, our families, insomnia, evolution, children, etc.) stuff you would normally talk to close friends about. He also offered to fix me up with a couple of his friends. We smoked a cigarette before I left and he seemed totally relaxed and not uptight like he had prior to this.BUT when I left he shook my hand. The next day we texted and decided to quit smoking and use each other as motivation. He called me and told me he was totally in and lets do it! So anyway, all of this seems "friendly" to me, but I don't want to come across as a weirdo for thinking we're friends when we're not and he's just being nice because I'ma client. My boyfriend and I are leaving in a couple weeks for Mexico, because his parents have a time share and they're letting us stay at the hotel for free. They're given a certain number of points per year, and they were not planning on going this year and knew we were looking into vacations so they lent it to us.
